1000/1 double seat

Hi all!
I am looking for a double sit for Laverda 1000/1, spokes with front disc. I guess I can allways order it new somewhere, but worth to ask if anybody has one to sell.

Does your bike have the whale tail?
I have a very good one for a whaletail that I'd swap for a single seat for whale tail also in very good condition.

I interpreted that as saying the seat was for a 3C with wire wheels but thought it might be going on a different bike. Silly me.

me's is a bit lost as first series as i understand is until they changed the engine? And not spokes.

We"ve been here before.First series of triples were Drummers, ie 3C/1 .Later engines were too called series one and two ,confusing.(for some )

Still no luck, I guess I will have to find a replica...

First triple was the 3C, Tre cilindri.
It became 3CL, Tre cilindri ruote leggere.

The rest concerns collectors and writers of books.

They turn up from time to time. Bought a nearly new one on ebay a couple of months back. Going price is ? 400.

I thought the drummers were just "Laverda 1000"
and with discs/wire wheels 1000/1 Known as the 3C, then a few with 1000/3CE but with the 3CE bit stamped at a upward slope
and then with alloy wheels 10003CL, again some with an upward slope to the letters, or should I get my coat.

I have one I bought from the USA. Cost me a lot and needs recovering. You can get first class covers from Australia but at a price. I would want what I paid for it.
