They answered my email in a couple off weeks explaining delay due to change of proprietor.
Do you know another source for badges Shaun?

Paul

they have answered the same day, so I'll try them. the 1200 badges are not painted and the little ones... if they peel off I'll paint them myself, what can we do?

I saw that one for sale and thought it looked a good buy.
yes, I saw it also for sale in UK, and I found the guy in Spain, actually he was a friend! so the deal was quick and easy.
The bike is quite ok, I'll try to ride it without restoration for now until I have time. However it will need rebuild of electrical system and brake system, at least

Paul, They didn t reply to when I said the paint peels off !,several times.I have had badges from AW and Wolfgang in the past, but i have no need now for anymore.

Paint peels off the badges from Andy Wagner in my experience.

In case of need, I'll apply Miguels technique with paint and brushes.
At the moment, a lot of my badges are being enamelled courtesy of Malcolm Cox. Suits the distinguished old man I've become.

I've seen some photos of Malcolm badges being enamelled, they are a lot, so I guess they don't do it with little brushes like I do... any idea how they do it?? I tried to mask them to use spray gun for better finish and I realised it was much faster to use an old school brush.

If I remember rightly, enamel is a powder which melts when heated, so it's deposited on the surface. Usually by hand. In the case of Malcolms badges, I don't know.
