In the flesh the decals are closer in colour.
I had some extra sets made up. I bought a couple from Paul LeClair (used on the red and blue bikes) that he had made up. I had mine made up for future use but have a few spares if anyone wants some. 45 euros a set, plus postage.
Can be clear coated, although I haven't done that. The adhesive is new and strong, plus the originals were on the outside of the paint.

Getting there.
Just waiting on badges and fuel cap.
Next is a full service and clean and polish.

The plan is to take it on it's inaugural ride out on Saturday as I have been invited out for a trip with a local Italian club here.
Weather is mid-teens and perfect blue sky.

In a year it's still the only Laverda I have that is road-legal in Spain.
The Corsa is supposed to be ready mid-March, not bad when I started the process in May last year! It is supposed to take 4 to 6 weeks....... Welcome to Spanish bureaucracy.

Jeez! I thought Aussie bureaucracy was a pain, but it's dead easy to register an old bike here. As long as it has a frame number and is in roadworthy condition, all you need to do is get a roadworthy ticket from an inspector, take it to the registry office, pay your money and they give you a registration sticker and number plate. Usually takes me about an hour from start to finish.

Cheers,
Cam

Doesn't help when you have an inefficient bureaucrat. In Spain the red tape is so complicated and convoluted that gestors are used. They are middle men between Trafico and us. Mine was recommended as specialising in classic vehicles. He has mucked it up royally from day one, but now there is light at the end of the tunnel as his practice has been bought by another company and the new guy is actually delivering on what he says he is going to do, and informing me of step by step progress. The last guy ignored all emails, calls and SMS messages.
Seems now it will be presented to Trafico on 1st March and should be done by mid-March

Nah, he was well past his best-before date, long in the tooth shall we say.
