1200 Pistons opinions wanted

As I said It will be cheap or nothing for me. The bike isn't worth spending lots of money on, in fact none of them are now unless they get used a lot. This bike is cobbled up from left overs that would otherwise mostly be binned.

Kexel has quite a good reputation, don't think they could afford to sell shite. AfaIk, the gross of the pistons they offer are either JP or GPM brands, both cast and probably quite OK for an engine not to be thrashed around at 110%.

I've had to fit GPM pistons to numerous 750s in the past, also mainly due to budget reasons. So far, no issues...

I have a set of standard size pistons but the barrels have had too much material taken off them at some time so it will have to be oversize now. I gave up and stuck some 1000 barrels and pistons on it for now anyway.

I think I may have offered you once before, a set of hardly used JE pistons ..they may be first oversize, would have to check. No charge if you collect...I have a set of barrels they were running in too..
