1200TS colours

I am the happy owner of the flying kangaroo - thanks Maurice - a 1200TS.  Much as I like the bike I find silver a bit ho hum as a colour, so have contemplated changing.  Thinking about colours I wondered if the 1200TS was ever produced in colours other than the silver with slightly strange red pin-striping a la MirageTS.  I rarely see any other colour - saw a burgundy one in an auction photo, and maybe a black one, but I'm guessing these colours are re-sprays to owners choice??

Yeah, yeah - orange and silver, silver and orange, orange with silver bits  :D  been there, done that - but the big question is did they ever produce them in any colour other than silver...?

Left everything surplus behind at my mates place where I living and built the Motodd. A couple of months after I finished the build the bike ended up in a box and headed off to Fremantle. I guess he must of sold it all, never really followed it up.
It was only the frame, tank/side covers/seat cowlings, front guard, jota exhaust system and crappy strada shocks and misc. stuff. The first build used most of the running gear from the mirage.
Didn't think the side covers would be worth anything as they're so ugly. I also used a earlier seat cowling as I didn't like the TS style either.
I really didn't like the styling of the TS. I only brought it as I couldn't find a jota at the time and I needed a bike quickly to head off to the Bol'dor.
That's why it eventually ended up as a Motodd. In hindsight the motor was a beauty and fitted in the motodd it was a dream to ride.

My mates Green frame ducati that had been NCR-ed. Probably wishing it was now an original green frame but money was never an issue for him.

 
I think the Jag is a 420G,
and I think I bought one of them red side panels and not very long ago!

the door mirrors are very 420G like, but the lack of waist height, body length,  chrome trim is very MK10 like. the reg number (might) have denoted the year, although many had vanity plates. I have had a few Jaguars over the years, ex embassy 3.4 litre Mk11, Daimler V8 250, two "S" types, two 4.2 litre XJ6's, and the best was a LWB XJ12, which I kept too long as I loved it and the only one I lost money on.
