Bloody hell!! And I thought the 'SF1' SFC replica on Bikesales was problematic!! A small valve motor with ?36mm? carbs? Can someone explain to me why a 60mm shorter swingarm on a basically stock SF geometry is a good idea??? Are they too long stock???

Otherwise just another project that got torn apart, some money spent then ran out of steam. If you were up for an SFC tribute project it would be a better starting point than ruining a nice SF, provided the price was correct. The seller has the right to ask whatever he likes. He's not breaking into your house and sticking your toothbrush up his bum and sending you a photo of it the following week, occasionally someone comes along and pays it.
All it really needs is $10-15k on the engine and about the same on chassis/bodywork/paint, and after a few hundred hours of your time you'd have a stonkin semi replica. What's not to like?

I'd pend the money on new toothbrushes.
Let's get specific. Whats a lowboy frame and why would it take Cagiva to modify it and why would they. What's the shortened swingarm about. Why would Cagiva be involved in prototyping SFC Laverdas, does bigfoot exist and where are the Aliens?
