Geez, they've gone to great lengths to highlight little cosmetic faults (on a 53yo bike!) - I'd be more concerned about the innards of the motor.

Those are my exact thoughts, and I'd catagorize this as a "project" bike. I'd like to know what the claimed "recent maintenance" entailed.

quite often used on the earlier BMW twins of the /2 and /5 era - goal to be able to see through the gap between elbows and knees.

Went up the M4 from Bristol to Hayes to visit Miura once .......... just past Swindon I passed a group of old school / mod style scooter riders buzzing along at about 40 mph .......... I arrived at Miura , did the deal with Alan Bell .......... On the return trip back along the M4 , I spotted this same group stopped on the hard shoulder , on the other side of the motorway ......... They`d reached Reading .........................
