I saw that ........ nice beginning to a project, but getting a bit rich at $4K. Still worth it if you can source tank, seat and side covers for $1000.

Quite. Any 750 tank, the first type are quite rare. Saddles are plentiful if you're not too choosy.
Oil the cables, squirt some oil down the bores though that should be ok, it looks to have been stored dry. And stick a pair of Chinese carbs on.

Yep, that's what I say very time a bike for sale crops up with shiny paint and chrome.
I usually get shot for it.

For once, we have a working class Laverda. Not a pampered expensive tart.
