I have a 1974 750SF that has been garaged for the last couple of years and am looking to repair or replace the clutch after slipping from a previous service attempt left me wondering if the service mixed dry/wet clutch ser vice or Where can I get replacement clutch parts/plates etc ?????

It’s worth replacing the clutch springs and cleaning the clutch plates/roughing the surfaces first.
While you have the plates out, measure them and report the thicknesses, they may well be still serviceable.
Do you know which oil was used in the engine?

Those clutches last a very long time. I wonder if the plates in my SF2 aren't original?
Whatever, they've been in there since I put the bike on the road in 92 and have done over 100 000 miles.
As Hamish mentions, incorrect oil is the first cause of clutch slip, notably the use of car oils full of slippery additives and not intended for wet, more or less, clutches.
