Recently restored Laverda. Only 500 miles since restoration. This bike is ready to be enjoyed. New paint fuel tank, frame. No corrosion anywhere. New tires,all new electrics and wiring. New Redax charging system. Rebuilt and new valves and guides,piston rings. This is a right hand shift bike. Beautiful bike and in excellent condition. Asking 16,000. Location is Raleigh NC.

Prices stateside for Laverdas have gone down a bit compared to a few years ago, but still fetch good prices due to their rarity here. Here's prices from BAT:

Regarding: prices, here in Denmark almost everything has come to a standstill with the sale of Classic motorcycles, but it is connected to the fact that we who own the older motorcycles do not want to buy more bikes, plus the younger men here in Denmark are not interested in older bikes, when I was 18 I did not want a motorcycle that was 50 years old, so I should have bought a motorcycle from: 1930

The young lads I work with are buying Triumphs mostly but there is an Enfield Constellation? and an Indian BSA Gold Star thingy too. They seem to like the retro bikes.

An Enfield dealership near me seems to be selling them, but there will always be an interest in the real thing.

My 23yo niece just bought a 2020 Royal Enfield 650 GT Continental. I did the inspection and test ride. Nothing to dislike about it, excellent learner bike - or a keeper if you like relaxed motorcycling. And it is big-time retro. I steered her away from CBR250 and FZR250 four-cylinder screamers - the motorcycling equivalent of lolly cigarettes (what were known in my childhood as Fags - but got with the program and were renamed Fads!) ... 'Let's pretend to be grown up superbike riders/smokers ...'
