Hi, a question for you.
What is the thread size for the stud which threads into the sump and bolts the left hand front underneath part of the engine to the slot in the frame. It also takes the side stand fixing bracket if so fitted.
It’s not standard metric 1.5, but could be 1.25 thread x M10.
The stud I got from Motalia will not screw in and as it is untouched I don’t want to take a file to the top of the thread to remove any burrs. I took the stud and it screwed into a boss I happened to have (from a race car wishbone) that is 7/16 UNF but the fit was sloppy.
Any advice please?
