What's a Slator's Conversion kit?

Slator Brothers were the UK importers of Laverda. They fitted high lift camshafts, High compression pistons, etc., amongst other racing modifications. Later, the bike was badged the Jota. There are no markings or badges to prove this on the current bike, but the mechanic who restored it at the time mentioned it. I cannot verify other than he had nothing to gain by stating this.
