1976 Laverda 3C seat

Morning gents, where can I find a seat cover for my ‘76 3C please?
I’ve tried the usual suspects and not had a response. The alternative is an upholsterer but they all appear to be too busy to respond.
It’s the plain cover with the squares for the passenger area. The alternative would be me getting my wife’s mum’s sowing machine out!

Just had my Alpino seat recovered at Saddlecraft in the North East of England, they made a great job. It did however take 6 weeks for them to complete it. cost was £130 plus vat plus p&p

I haven't heard of any problems and mine arrived ok, that's all I can tell you. Not cheap but well worth the money.

not quite so far for you is Viking motorcycle seats, they are close to Brands Hatch and usually do a while you wait service, (yours might be a bit longer due to the front/back differing patterns) there is a cafe next door but one, on the industrial estate. tel 07977 874075

Hi!
I bought over 5 cover from el Dorado, they are exceptional. I wouldnt be surprise that Jean gets them from Australia also, but good luck getting in touch with Tony Oconnor, he takes his time answering the emails, you will need some patience!
Changing the cover needs a bit of skills, imagination and creativity. Use a good contact glue. Some pieces of thick paper to avoid marks on the cover.
I first put the cover without glue with lot of pliers, and then I glue it part by part letting it dry it before going with the next. When gluing it, i give an extra tension.
I recommend you to powdercost the base, normal lack would be damaged with the solvent of the contact glue.

Tony of Eldorado in Australia replied really quickly, I was impressed. All paid for now, just waiting for UK Taxes to bend me over……………

Clem, I’ve used Viking before on a KTM seat I was pleased with, but they have not replied to my enquirey this time.

Well if you want an accurate replacement that's where you will find one, if a cover without any fancy pattern will do then then that will be cheaper I would imagine. They all tear at the front where the seat base cuts through them anyway unless something is done to prevent it.
