1978 Jota - Ceriani forks

Hi,

Anyone know the size of the o ring for the fork cap on 38mm Ceriani forks fitted to 1978 Jota please?

I get a dribble of oil running down the fork from under the top shroud, so must be this o ring?

More or less 32 x 27 x 4.
It begs the questions: how much oil have you got in there? Are you using the bike for motocross?

I had the forks straightened and repealed by Philpotts, so I?m not sure on the oil quantity, although they seem to operate reasonably well (not Rock hard). I was going to drain them and refill anyway when I check out the o ring. The book says 200cc?s per leg, although I have read it?s better to put more, maybe 350cc?

There's plenty of suspension discussion on this forum.
200cc is the factory recommendation. The Laverdamania site and probably elsewhere recommend 380. I've no experience with that.
