Hi guys
Im new to the Laverda forum and im from Sydney Australia and I've got a 1978 Laverda LH250 that I just recently bought. The bike is in very original condition with a few scuff marks here and there ,does anyone have any suggestions on where I might find spares as in headlight shroud ,mudguards side panels etc .the motor is no problem being a Husky
Any info would be greatly appreciated
Cheers Paul

It's labour-intensive.BTW, where did you get the bike? I've never seen another, even at the big VMX event at Dargle. I am in Sydney as well.I am a long-time Husky owner

My 82 Husky Automatic came from west Oz originally, The Oz distributor for Husky was in Penrth Western Sydney Hans Applegin back then so it must have been a private import. My Husky that is.

I was once riding south out of Merano, heading to Passo Palade and in an hurry. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted an orange frame and fuel tank outside against the fence at a small motorcycle shop. I went back to look and it was a Laverda 250 like this one, minus engine and sun bleached. It still had the original seat cover. I didn’t know at the time that they used a Husky engine and figured it was a dead loss. I wonder what happened to it, and regret now that I didn’t somehow pursue it :)

Good luck with this nice example!

Hi Paul, here you can find some parts for your LH 250 - this dealer is near Vicenza, Italy - but I don't know if he is willing to ship to Australia.
Ciao, Gert

Lucky guy
I absolutely love those bikes
If I ever see one ill have it in a blink
Hope you get it sorted

Going to be a toss-up between us. ;)

While the Chott is nice and sedate, really pleasant to ride, reckon the Husky offers a bit more kick-in-the-arse.
