1981 Indicator lens

Hi
It would seem that a Scooter shop in Brisbane is selling indicator lens and they identify that they are suitable for Laverda.  To me it looks like they're for a 1981 fairing. I ceratinly didn't know they were shared with Vespas.

Anyrate if you've an 81 fairing and at $15 each cheap to have in a cupboard. Sure as eggs when you need one.......

I have no association with this business and don't know if their claims are correct.

Yep Vespa PE/PX, rear indicator units, normaly retail for a tenth of the price of a Laverda indicator unit. Funny old game.

sound on, please...

Oh - and BTW: that is not even necessary... a man in Germany has made up a 250ccm Vespa wit 44,7HP. With an overall weight of roughly 100Kilos, it will be very hard to keep the front wheel on the ground when accelerating, no matter in which gear...

When I was a kid my brother and I made a go kart using a Vespa 250 motor and hand controls. Went like the clappers but bloody frightening.

Tout aussi "toxique" qu'un scoot ? moteur de 750 Suzuki, la 2CV camionette Ferrari ...

I want that Citroen van. Once had an Escort van with a mexico engine under the bonnet. Used to tow a race car and trailer at 100mph. Once overtook owner of said race car, a Phantom, on the A1 on the way to a meeting and he was not well pleased.

For those in OZ try to find The Castrol Racing Driver Manual by Frank Gardner. As well as top tips his comments on his mechanics, V8 motors shoved in tow cars is classic.
