Be interesting to see what it sells for! As a latebSeries2 (although the top fairing looks earlier) it should have a solid engine with proper charging, it's just the styling that no-one except me likes!

Not very difficult to remove what you don't like and style it as you like. The basics are all there and 1200s look fantastic to all eyes when the right things are done to them. Motoddrob went the whole hog with his!

Unfortunately, the scammers are out there, and apparently this ad is also bogus (unless someone can say otherwise).

As an aside, I get frequernt email scams from "deaf" individuals willing to pay the full amount for an illustration project w/ a cashier's check. They then try contacting me to repay the amount since the project was "cancelled". Meanwhile, the cashier's check they sent is bogus.

That 1200 went for $9100. The seller claims it's a 180 degree motor (also that it had less restrictive Euro internals), but I thought later yrs. were 120 degree. Experts, please confirm, thanks.

The factory NEVER sold a 120 degree "1200" (1116) to the public as a production model
