1983 RGS 1000 for sale at Las Vegas Mecum auction

So it sold for $12,100. Maybe the $18,000 is the total with all the fees? The buyers fee can be from 5% to 20% and if bidding online add another 12%.

Worst case 12K + 20% + 12% + sales tax ( don't know what it is but in California it would be 8.5%) = $16,800

I will need to check with my friend who was there as said it sold for $18,000

Regardless, even $12,100 is a lot for an RGS.
