It's time to let go of my 1984 RGS. I'm the third owner and have owned the bike for 13 years. I have the original sales receipt and owners manual. It has been well maintained over the years, just don't seem to find time to ride it much any more. 19,600 miles. It has a 3 into 1 exhaust, DHC ignition, Corsa badges (is not a Corsa), and Laverda luggage (is not an Executive). Over the last several years I have replaced or rebuilt: front brake disks, carriers and pads, rear shocks, primary and secondary chains, F11 cam and resurfaced cam buckets, carbs rebuilt, starter, battery..... The bike has not been restored, is in decent original condition with the usual nicks and dings for a bike this age. Asking $10,000. Let me know if you have any questions or more detailed pictures.

Great looking bike that appears to be well sorted & priced fairly. The Exec cases, cams, ignition & exhaust are a few thou not including install. Are cams F1 grind done by Megacycle?

Thanks for the kind words about my RGS. It's been a great bike and is a solid survivor. Pretty much all of the parts I've purchased over the years, including the cams and resurfaced cam buckets are from Wolfgang.

Nice low mileage bike, and with the Exec bags all atba fair price. Hopefully a quick sale. Offer a case of Olympia (do they still make that swill?) with it and I bet one of the Aussies will buy the beer and take the bike with it.

Hate to break the news but Oly is long gone. But don't despair, plenty of beer in the Portland area, most of it better than Oly. Come on over, I'll pick you up at the airport and fill the saddle bags with the good stuff.

I believe the handle bar pad is shown in a photo in my original post. Are you asking about something different? Regarding 85% ethanol gas, I recently had the carbs rebuilt which included new o-rings and other sealing bits, and also new floats. My understanding is that these new parts are now being manufactured to be resistant to damage caused by ethanol. So far haven't had any issues.
