250 Chott

As posted on the other forum, i have purchased a Chott and don't know that much about them, I'm looking for any information that may be out there like a manual or parts list thanks
On a separate note, the bike came with a spare engine that i will not need, it turns over and has good compression. Anyone interested in buying it?
 
Hi Terry, the original 250 Chott manual says: getto massimo (main jet) 125 and getto minimo (pilot jet) 60, spillo (needle) K8 in the middle notch. What year/version is your 250?

Exactly the same as mine, just taken off the plastic rear guard and replaced with the stainless one as yours is in the photo. just got to give the carb some attention and it will be good to go.

Hi Terry I may be interested in the chott engine you have for sale. I use a chott in trials events , a spare motor would not be a bad thing for me ,I have been using it for trials for some years now ,never let me down , up untill a few months ago i also had 2 2trs all on the road , all start 2nd or 3rd kick also never let me down , I run the bikes on 50-1 fully sync rock oil . If i can be of any help drop me a line .
 
Hi Terry thats fine , I just posted a requests for your details regards engine ,I had not seen this post . regards sprockets B and C Express , Lincolnshire , they have pattern and can make up on request , Be careful stick to standard options there is very little scope with std chaincase / engine to do anything else , There is just no room before the chain fouls

Ian in Cumbria and am trying to build a Chott engine am a few peaces missing so would be interested in buying your spare engine if I can afford it as my son has a chott as well
 
I am getting rear sprockets for Chott made if anybody interested message me
Cost of 38 tooth is £65 + postage onto you (other sizes might be slightly more as I’m getting 2 off x 38)
