Having written a few comments on the Cadwell Park thread I thought it would be more apt to have a new thread for this topic as I think the guys involved 25 years ago deserve proper recognition for the efforts they made to promote Laverda back then.
Without doubt it was a tough ask to make the Laverda competitive against the opposition becoming available around the end of the '1990's, but they managed it and full credit to John Baines for developing the bikes, and Geoff and Russ for riding the wheels off them to make the team as successful as it was.
If any one has any memories to share of the team, or better still photos etc, please post them for all to read/see.
