3-3

I think the one on the Anniversary looks the best of the bunch so far.
The prototype triple had a 3:3

This year i saw laverda 3 into 6 exhaust in breganze  awsome sound  :o  i think that exhaust was from benelli sei

Seemed like he was trying to impress moped kiddies outside the chip shop.
Not something you try to do in the home of Laverda in front of dozens of afficionados.

I remember that 3-6 dude from a Breganze rally some years back.  At the lunch stop on the tour Piero brought the V6 and they put them tail to tail out the front of the restaurant and revved the crap out of them.  It was remarkable how similar the two bikes sounded, only that the triple was revving lower and did not pick up as quickly.
Aside from that, the bike was painfully loud and annoying, and the main thing I learned was that even ensconced in the understated style of Northern Italy there exist people with very questionable taste indeed.  :)

I remember that bike very well... it was actually a 3-2 I think where both sides had simply 3 tubes welded to the one tube coming from the collector, but I might be wrong. The bike performed poorly as it seams he did not adjust the carb settings...

for a race-bike, I would never consider 3-3. A proper 3-1-2 or a 3-2-1-2 is way better, as 1 cylinder can help the other one to breath and the whole system is lighter. Ideally a 3-2-1, but then you would need a big volume in the silencer, which might - depending on the mounting position - give ground clearance issues while cornering. If you get it high enough though, a 3-1-2 or 3-2-1 would be ideal from what I know.
