Hi, sorry my report comes a bit late! It was much fun and a perfect organized event!
The 36th Seiber mountain classification for historic vehicles up to 1300 ccm (motorcycles and cars) took place in cool but dry weather. The route is approx. 6 kilometers long and leads steeply uphill in several hairpin bends. My friends Andreas Bachtrögler (Bultaco Metralla 250 - patina restored), Wolfgang Pussecker (LAVERDA 750 SFC Replica - based on a 750 GT) and me (LAVERDA 250 Chott - revived after 9 years of standstill) were at the start. The first run started at 10:00 a.m., the 2nd run at 2:30 p.m. The winner in the 15 different starter classes was the one who drove the two runs with the smallest time difference. Some of the winners had not more than some seconds of time difference ...
We had a lot of fun driving our bikes up the mountain, no defects on the bikes, but we still have to work on the results. It's not easy to ride evenly.
Kudos to the organizers - everything was perfectly organized! In 2024 we'll be back...
