Awfully cheap, it does have 90k on it,looks good though,a spoke wheel 3CL? Should sell quick

It's a realistic price if there's no catch.
There was one for sale a couple of years back for that price or thereabouts.
A lovely original 74 3C.
The ad stayed quite a while, the owner broke it for parts. I bought some.

I bought one for a friend 18 months ago for around that as well.

In 1976, Laverda 1000s were offered in France, on paper, with the choice of wire or alloy wheels. I don't know what the reality of that choice was.

I imagine that at the time, everybody wanted those flash alloy things. Very much like those useless hydraulic clutches.
Quite the contrary today.

At $7200 US dollars there would have been room to ship it, I think it was very well bought, I have a feeling it's going to be a quick flip for someone

What, pray, is a quick flip?

That is when you buy cheap and  turn around and sell it higher

I know, but I wanted to see you write it.
Do you realise that some people actually enjoy riding bikes?
Do you realise that money doesn't underlie the actions and motivations of a lot of people? And yes, I know, we need money to live but you can only eat old motorcycles with difficulty.
Do you realise that the average French Laverda enthusiast has no idea of the utter stupidity of prices in the English speaking world?

I'm extremely pleased to know quite a few people and ride with them who use expensive old metal as it should be and don't give a shit about what it's worth.

That's the flip side.
