I have one, it has been (properly) modified to have a viewing port for the chain, made from a 750 valve cover.
send me a PM with your offer if that suits you. It does have the "1000" logo on the crankshaft bulge

The eBay listing, 4 hundred and forty pounds for a cover he's friggin joking right. Maybe I won't toss the cover I bought off of eBay years ago, which has a horrible weld job repairing a hole in it up near the Laverda inscription, don't know why there would be a hole there, 440 WTF.
