Quick question on 3CL airbox...Looking at the part diagram i seem to be missing the inner parts of the airbox.

Items 22,21,35 and 30 (attached to 35) in the attached diagram.

Would they have been removed deliberately? The bike is to Jota Spec (cams, Pistons changed, cab re-jetted).

Thanks,

Carl.

Hi Carl,
You're not missing anything on your UK spec Jota. The parts you see were for bikes destined for some Euorpean countries and the U.S. market. You don't want to fit them as they will restrict your Jota's ability to breathe freely.

Cheers,

Ian

The baffles were fitted on some UK models as well. My 1977 1200 had them but were removed when it had a load of work done by Cropredy. I still have them if anyone wants them for originality but they are very restrictive. The bits are the two metal baffle plates (35, 36) and the internal rubbers (22). If you're missing part 21 I think you might need it, it's the back of the airbox.

Bill
