Hi everyone.
Happy to own what I believe is a dog eared ?76 3CL #3580 with rear disc brake. Needs many many parts among them both foot pedals and all linkage are missing. I can?t tell if the brake pedal is on the right ? This is the same side as the master brake cylinder.
QUESTION.
Is it true that which ever side the rear master brake cylinder - is - the same side as the brake pedal?
I would think for the brakes you wouldn?t want the clumsiness and fallibility of connecting rods etc. moving the actuator to the other side ?
Mine has the Rear master cyl on the right. But then they moved the tranny lever to the left with the cross frame tubing / arm assembly which I have. ?
Trying to understand this bike. I see the rear master cylinder on
both sides...
Thanks all.
