4 pot Brembos on a 750 SF2?

As above, has anyone fitted 4 pot Brembo calipers to a SF2 w 280 mm rotors, and if so, what’s involved? Which Brembo calipers, and can the forks be flipped to mount the calipers behind them, or will that affect the speedo drive, etc. I can pick up a used pair from an Aprilia for a decent price, along w a Brembo m/c.

You can also fit blue spot Sumtiomo 4-spots from a Yamaha R1/6 and a few other Yamaha models. Go almost straight on but you have to slightly elongate the holes in the Ceriani caliper lugs. Tippie has done this to his SF2 I think. Not quite as perfect as the K series Beemer ones but close.
 
I bumped into a very pleasant gent from the Netherlands (and his lovely family) at the 2024 Breganze rally. (If you're reading this Sock, they sat with us for lunch when you kindly blagged some food for me!!)
This is his SF2 with BMW sourced (GS1150 or 1200) twin pot calipers fitted. He said it just needs two 5mm spacers on each caliper to get the spacing right on the disc. The distance between to mounting bolts is exactly the same as standard Laverda issue Brembos. He said it results in two finger braking with loads of feel.
Albeit they are supposed to be mounted behind the caliper so the smaller piston acts first but that possibly/allegedly/perhaps makes no discernable difference.

Hi Chris! Thank you for your compliment and best regards from my father. Small correction, the frame indicates sf2 but it came from the factory as a sf3. Now converted to spoke wheels with 3 discs. He’s really enjoying the calipers and a lot less dust collecting around the pistons. He said even one finger braking😉. Did you already install them as well on your project?

Ciao!! Mine are ready - overhauled with new parts throughout - but the '74 3C still has a long way to go!!
