Hi Paul,
the 75 has a 40T sprocket.
For what do you need 45T? Do you like to take part at a hill climb with it

Hi Wilfried,

My 75cc had a 45T sprocket that was on the bike when we got it. I also have a 100cc version and it also has a 45T rear sprocket!
So maybe there was a difference between models?

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul,

I own around 20 of the 75 and 100. And this morning again I counted the T at a 1953 model and a 100. Both have 45T. I´m sorry
Last night I checked the T at the model of 1951 which has less.

Why do you need the whole unit? Is it not possible to weld a new sprocket on?
Or are the pins worn out what they are very often? Because of that good ones are rare.

Thanks Wilfried,

The sprocket is ok, but the pins are flogged out and the inner bearing has spun on the outer race for many years. If I can't source a new one I will machine the old one. Presume ORO has them but I am no where near Breganze!!

Cheers

Hi Paul,

In November I´m in Breganze and will meet Riccardo Oro and other guys who sell parts for the little Laverda´s.
If you like I ask for your part and give you a message about condition and the price.

Hi Wilfried,

Thanks for the offer to locate this part. I would appreciate if you could find out if the sprocket/drum brake is available (Part no: 480)
If you could also see if there is a gearlever return spring, as mine is worn to 50% (Part no: 224C)

Could you please let me know whilst you are in Breganze.

Cheers

Hi Paul,

I will check if the sprocket/drum unit is available for you.

All springs which are used at the Laverda 75 and 100 (brakelever, gearlever, kickstart) are available.
Because they were sold out even in Italy I organized a reproduction and shared them with my italian friends.

My arrival at Breganze is the 11 November the departure is th 16th.

Hi Paul,

you should buy the "moto corona" on subito. It is still available.
I found one in Breganze last week but I payed much more for it.
Please let me know about it

Hello Wilfried,

Sorry for taking so long to reply as I didn't notice your post. I have decided to repair my sprocket/brake drum. I will send you a photo once it's complete. Still need the gear return spring.
I was scammed with this wanted add from a guy in California supposedly, claiming to have the unit complete. They are getting into everything now

Be in touch

Paul

Hello Paul,

I would be happy about a photo of the repaired drum.

To send the spring I need your adress. Or is there anything else which you need?

Hi Wilfried
Just an update to let you know I have repaired my drive pins for 75cc sport.
I used 10.9 grade for the pins being threaded into new holes. The pins are loctited in with 243. Had to make a sleeve for the axle bearing as the bearing housing was worn badly ang have maintained the original size bearing 6202 and circlip.Just need to fabricate a distance washer for the pins to allow spoke bend clearance.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,

I´m sorry for the late reply.
I just rented a barn, 150 dry square meters. I´m pretty occupied with the move of parts and bikes.
The best Christmas present I´ve ever received

All springs of the 75/100 are available.
My email is: laverdino64@gmail.com

Have a happy night of New Year´s Eve🍾🍾
