#5 has now been brought back to life.

Yesterdays' first start up, hooked to remote fuel tank. Eventually got the carbs balanced, ignition strobed, neutral-finding issue solved... even has something faintly resembling a 1500rpm idle!

Yeah, that's the new exhaust. Fitted the original later, it really does cause ear-bleeding. The new system cuts dBs quite considerbly. I have a dB meter, we'll try a comparison when we start the beast out in the open.

It was a pleasure to witness the final stages of the Laverda Harris 600's completion. Many of the seemingly minor details actually take up a surprising amount of time. But eventually, that afternoon, the moment arrived to fire up the former BoT racer. It was a truly spine-tingling experience - something the short video clip can’t quite capture. The expressions on Günter and Piet’s faces spoke volumes; two lads who were absolutely delighted! Bring on the Nürburgring!
