630 chain

Gor those wanting to keep 630 on their bikes, I have just supplied Mr Trotter with
and iwis asa60 chain which I beleive will do the job. It is non O ring and as used on
Frazer Nash cars. I have not heard if it fits OK yet but with good 630 chain becoming
hard to source (my supplier has dis-continued it), it may be an option.

As used on Frazer Nash cars....good god there must be a limited market opening there Andy for 530 conversions surely.
Be bloody expensive though given the number of sprockets.

Interesting but a non starter.

Years ago I sold many chains for Frazers but lost contact with the market.

The iwis asa60 is a very good chain but as with all the iwis range looks too
light for use, so many owners opt for big heavy duty crap. This not only
wears quickly but is ridiculously priced. One of my clients who insists on iwis
for all his race engine builds stubbonly sticks to the heavy stuff saying the iwis
is too light. I have given up trying to point Frazer owners in the right direction.

Funnily enough I have the same problem with Morgan owners and only have a couple
of them using iwis with excellent results. Must be a car thing.

PS Any Frazer guys reading this....yes iwis do crank links for asa60 which saves
costly regearing cos heavy duty chains dont have crank links to fit.

Did some work for the Frazer Nash family heirs, near here.

Must have been for his  rusty chain on his old 750 I understand he got some stick at the AGM from DoC. :D
