I have 3 pairs of stanchions.
66cm, 63cm and 60cm.
The 66 is from and RGS, the 63 is from a 180, no idea which bike the 60s came from as I got them in a pile of spares.
They all look to have similar machining inside each end (circlip groove one end, threaded section other end for fork cap.
So, they all look like Marzocchis to me. I know the 2 longer ones are, at least.
I thought the 60s were from a 750, but did any have Marzocchi forks?
Or are the stanchions possibly Ceriani but have identical machining each end to Marzocchis?
Next question. Can you mate Ceriani fork sliders to Marzocchi stanchions?
If so, which internals to use, and is any machining required?
I know some folk have made Ceriocchi forks (Phil) but what is required to join them together?
