72 rubber swingarm

Well this one is semi rigid! My first time with a rubber bushed swing arm!?
The shaft/spindle is solid turns with what movement I have when I move the swing arm Need some ideas

Big job to get them out, only time I used a sledge hammer to fix a motorcycle. Good luck. I replaced with the bronze bush setup

Swing-arms regularly come up for sale for small money, if you need to cut it out line up a replacement first.

I would weld the nut on one side, fire WD40 at it whilst trying to turn it with a nut gun, go back & forth until something gives.
We used to do this on Hondas, if you can get it to move the WD will find it way in. You may have to whack at as well.
If you do go down the route of destroying the swingarm, I have one complete with spindle.Obviously if you can pre soak it in penetrating oil prior to the big day , all the better.

Thanks for that my first Laverda after riding one in 72! This is complete rebuild I’m told engine is good Want new chain and sprockets no horror stories so far
