It supposedly won an award at a concours show but doesn't sound like its running and needs carb work etc. Hence the low price, but sad that it's not on the road. Let us know what you find out- it could be a good deal!

Someone known as John Laughney did the "restoration". Price reflects status. Probable rust in tank, hydraulic issues, ignition too possibly. Could be smokey rattly, or tight and proper. Non runner, so who knows who's been in the cam area with a hammer. Mine was!

$10k is considered a low price? I have put up my running fully operational low mileage early 3C, with at least $5k in spares at $13k, not even a hint of an offer, I guess I'm in the wrong location,

Try BAT- you may get your price

Fair bit of hoop jumping with BAT. Lots of picture uploading. About a hundred listing fee. But must admit, those images (and pundit banter) can inspire some buyers to stop 'sitting on their hands.' If detailed and running well, 10k not unreasonable. Just a waiting game. Ever shrinking pool of potential individuals who could cope with these beautiful but brutal machines, plus repair and maintenance options becoming limited.

I spent well over 10 for my "excellent condition" example and a ton of time and money putting it in rideable shape.
CDI 2/3rds operational. Rust with rusty fuel in tank. Leaking calipers (repainted by 'restorer' but corroded internally), Leaking engine oil seals right side. Wires on connector block hanging by a thread. Loose fork pinch bolts. You name it.

Lots of guys can make them look pretty...Mine just happened to be the color I was after and not ridden much, mostly due to lack of expertise, even many years ago. But it was clean....

I picked up 3 trophy's for my Jota at an annual Italian Bike show.
