Hi everyone

I'm new owner of a '74 750SFC Menani\Fontana Drum Replica.
I do need to change the tyres and I'd like to fit new Dunlop TT100s; could you confirm if in origin Laverda SFC fit Dunlop K81 TT100 4.1-18 59H TT on front and rear or was used 4.25 on rear ?

Thanks a lot for your feedback

I'm not sure about the original fitting, but I do know the 4.25" tyres don't run well on the 2.15"rims.
If that's the rim size you have, I'd suggest 4.10s, front and back.

I just yesterday saw a copy of a brochure for an early SFC which had K81 specified, 3.60 front and 4.10 rear!! I have never seen one of those tiny 3.60 on any bike bigger than an RD350. Otherwise what Marnix says, but on my own SF2 back in the day I ran 4.10 front and 4.25 rear on original rims and they were great.

Early SFCs came with Metzeler tires (rille front and block C rear) which had those sizes 3.60 and 4.10, just like the SF. The TT100 always came 4.10 front and rear.

For me too, the 4.10 and 4.25 was the preferred TT100 combination in the 70ies. Tried a 3.60 once, but looked really skinny..

Here’s a pic of my SF2 taken 1978ish with the 3.60 front and 4.25 rear.
