74 SF2 Pics

Hey nice bike and a good looking job.

Where is the seat from and how easy to fit?
The exhausts tell me some more about them please

I've put a pic of my own 'umble 72 SF in hope it may encourage a few more SF pics to be posted. It's always good to have inspiration from other bikes

Anyway great bike.....well done

Hey John, nice bike. I always think the 750s suit that colour.
I took a test ride some years ago on a black one at Slaters. I just thought it looked so good.
Then I went and bought a Corsa!
Like you do.

Grant,

I had a Corsa brand new back in Jan 85. From  MotoVechia in Collierswood, London. It was a 23rd birthday pressie to myself. I remember the day well it was bloody snowing but despite this I was determined to ride off on my new bike. If I remember rightly it cost then ?5k which was a fortune when a new GPZ1100 was I recall about ?3k. The picture shows that same bike and the snow on the ground. Though I have to say that Corsa was the most tempermental and unreliable Laverda I've owned.

Mine was fine, just me and it never gelled in the handling department.
The 1200 I replaced it with was a far better handling bike at anything over 7/10ths.
The Corsa motor was a peach.

I made the seat myself from a spare pan an a mold I cut out of styrofoam and then some fiberglass.
The silencers are from a company called Epco in Ohio and my builder, Geoff Giles, fabbed the rest of the pipes himself.  Geoff also made the side covers, foot pegs, front fender customization, battery tray and more.
