750 GTL

Hi Steph,
a 750 GTL is a rare find today - here is one:

Ciao, Gert

Hi Gert
Waow .. lovely machine  (love2)
Thanks

I have no experience at all with GT/L .. nor with the market :)

Hope to find something less ambitious to work on though.

Cheers

"Stunning", "original" and "unmolested" are a bit exaggerated imho... maybe "nice" would be more fitting.

Aftermarket silencers, handlebar grips and rear shocks, lower than standard handlebar but long brake cable still fitted, DIY seatcover, sidestand seems to be missing completely, gear shift lever from a triple.  Probably lots more to be found upon closer inspection.  For almost 7 grand, I'd expect a set of new footrest rubbers to be fitted.

Possibly a good basis from which to build a "stunner".

Make him a low offer, St?ph.  There's no cote Argus for a bike like this ...

And there won't be many buyers in the market at the mo'  :o, and who knows, he may need the cash.  There are several knowledgeable Laverda owners in the area who might be prepared to go and have a look at it for you - Sean Dampier's not so far, for example.  Alan Cudlipp, too.

Good suggestion Ventodue  (bigthumb)
Big thanks

Yes will contact Sean and/or Alan

Cheers

Missing its rear grab rail , so mounted the indicators of the rear light , as the indicator mounts are on the grab rail . Great buy , service it and away you go . And do it up as you go .

Hi Steph,

Shaun's probably better placed (i.e. nearer) than me, but I'm happy to help if you're prepared to wait a couple of weeks.

Alan :)

Here's a map and the address of their si?ge sociale, Steph.  It may not be where the bikes are, but is likely to be near.  (It's right on the border between Devon and Somerset).

The Berea, Wambrook, Nr Chard, England TA20 3EU
