750 SF3 tyres

Just read all the obvious tyre threads and now I'm even more confused.....  My SF3 is ready for front and back tyres and it seems BT45s get the vote followed by Michelin Pilot Actives and Avon Road Rider.

I bought the bike with a 3.50 on the front and a 120/90 on the back so the question is what size suits the SF3 best? Original 3.50 F  and 4.00 R? 110/90 F and 120/90 R? Given that the SF3 has those ugly cast wheels, are tubeless an option? Ideally I'd like a clear recommendation from a twin rider as the previous threads include all models.

100 and 120 are perfect and is what I use on my SF2. 110 on the front may not fit between the forks.
Without doubt 110 on the back would be fine but more visually challenging.
I've been using Dunlop 501 now named Streetsmart for a few years now and don't intend trying anything else.

Have fitted BT45 in 3.50 and 4.00 to my 750GTL for years to my complete satisfaction.  Still not many other tyres that can challenge the Bridgestones in regard to wet grip.  Wear and cost are no issue to me due to comparitive low yearly mileages, got too many bikes to be able to wear out tyres quickly.

Laverda cast wheels are not designed for tubeless tyres, fit at your own risk.

Got a BT45 110 fitted to the front of the SFC, I think it is too big, next time a 100 will be fitted. 120 on the rear.

Totally Agree; I got a BT 110/80 on the front and a BT 130/80 on the Back. They're too rounded and and a handful to handle.

I sure liked my Phantom 120/70 on the rear with a Mitzler 100/80 on the front but they don't make them anymore.

Really liked the Pirelli Stratos 110/70 Radial on the Front but they crack out after 2 years with a Phantom 120/70 Radial on the rear but they don't make them anymore either.

The only thing about tires is whether they crack and fade away after a couple of years or you can ride them till their finished.
