Speaking of which, where can I buy a 750SFC fairing in the original orange gelcoat finish??? My original one shows it's age with stone chips and fibreglass repairs I've done over the years to deal with some cracks.

Not sure about original gelcoat, Rob, but I've got a FG copy without the headlight hole cut out. Might be a good track day bodywork part.

Was speaking to Wolfgang a while back. He may still have one for sale.
By the way I would have the carb parts you are after.
Same deal as we talked about by phone call . More than happy to support your wishes to get the Laverdas running well on the track.
Cheers Mate.

I have a new orange coloured SFC fairing that I have never got around to using and probably won’t any time soon. A load of parts are due to be shipped back to Oz shortly by Scott so perhaps he could find room for it in with his stuff.

So true Tippie. There were two basic shapes, the one of the 5000/8000 batch and the one of the 11000 batch onwards.
Most are only familiar with the latter.
Every batch had a differently cut fairing though, dictated by the clip-ons/handlebars and/or levers that were used. The (very handmade) 5000 batch SFCs even had fairings that varied per bike!
Then there were the works racers..
