Hello, new member here
I wonder if anybody knows of someone making/selling the (2 into 2) 750SFC "street legal" exhaust system.
The one that goes under the engine into a X balancer and have two separate mufflers (not the meggas)
And will I have to change the centrestand?
I´m NOT making an SFC replica, just like the exhaust ...

You need to change the centre stand.
The system isn't even vaguely street legal.
Usual Laverda suppliers should supply.

I wouldn't have thought the 2 into 2 cross over system isn't street legal. It's not that fucken loud, is why mine is sitting in a box and have the 2/1 fitted.

you can always add a baffling system with perforated sheet if you want to calm the noise a bit. My custom 2-X-2 is straight through and the external baffling in the 'mufflers' tones it down enough to pass roadworthy here.

It's worth the hassle of modding the centre stand IMHO.

The original 2 into 2 with silencers was street legal, and here in Holland it still is.

Should have a spare system that I can miss, but racing at Spa-Francorchamps now so can’t look.

In France, there's no limit on exhaust noise for vehicles pre spring 1976 I believe.
Today, the legal limit is 80 dB, euro 4 norm, but the law isn't retro active.

This Phonos exhaust looks like a 2-1 from the front and it does not foul the SF centre stand.

Never found out any information about the manufacturer.

Wouldn't the S have had the earlier small valve exhaust collets? The Sonos headers look like they'd fit a big valve head - could be wrong. It's an interesting system, Rob. Is it solid from front to back (no pivot of the headers)? If so I wonder how you get the headers into the exhaust ports. And woul;d like to see how much the pipes protrude from the side (thinking of cornering clearance).

5 pieces, separate headers and crossover clamp on.
I never measured my old GT heads, but all early 35mm pipes I have seen had thicker sleeves at the ports
