750 Starter sprag clutch problem solved...

The knackered springs are the cause for any issues, the smaller roller simply will not have engaged.

Lots of these clutches still work more-or-less satifactorily with only 2 or 3 rollers working (overtime), that's about when the screeching sets in...

Well, new kit on its way. This seems like a much robust solution then the one on my Benelli 650s.
 
They're not too bad, actually quite reliable if they recieve a drop of oil every now and then. The springs are pummeled to death by backfires upon starting or a bumpy roller race on the sprocket.

Mk I triples use 8x8mm rollers.
