750 tank and side covers

Went and had a look at the tank. A few deep scrapes underside looks good. Couldn?t tell the condition of the sides but I think stick on badges are covering up sins. Has a lining in it. If I could see under the badges and it didn?t have a lining I would make an offer

I presume they are from the black SF2 I used to see around Annandale. What colour is it now?

Rim around the front edge looks very smooth, which would indicate filler. No sign of the strip 'weld' of a factory finish. Don't like sealant unless I'd done it myself or knew exactly who had.

Made my first pair, which have a few air bubbles that can easily be filled - they will be painted anyway so not concerned. But to get a good finish in carbon I'm going to try using vacuum bagging. Pretty happy regardless.
