750 vintage

Any feedback from the experts here on the bike below would be much appreciated. My gut tells me the bike must be earlier than ‘73. That and the no-docs raises alarm bells for me, am I being over cautious? Thanks, SM.

Of course it’s older than 1973. Part restored and not all correct, but I have seen worse examples. The painter had no idea where the stripes should be on tank and side panels..

Thanks all. I suspect that shortened url had a shelf life, I just grabbed the first google offered up. It is indeed the bike meentioned by Paul, the auction house is only 30 miles down road from me so I thought I’d take a look.

The bike was built somewhere in the summer of 69.

If the mechanical bits are in good order which would be difficult to assess since the bike isn't used, with no documents, £3000 would be an upper limit.

I’ll nip to the auction house for a closer look (there’s an SF2 as well, zero details on auctioneers site) and see if they will start it. If no start I’ll view that as bad news, and also I am very wary on no docs to the point of not buying without a sound explanation.
