750SF colour?

Hi all, I'm at the stage of painting my 1970 750SF and as it's been painted several times over its life I'd like to see what the factory colours were. I did find a colour chart at one stage (referenced from here) but didn't save the link.
Can some point me in the right direction of a colour chart?

In recommissioning my old SF, I recently had my tank repaired and repainted. The past original colour was discernible from under the tank. I gather the factory options were not well recorded. Laverdamania was a good reference. https://www.laverdamania.net/technique/. As well I found a pie diagram colour chart on the forum that was indicative of colours. However, beyond that I found looking at photos and other SF's was the best reference. Check out Moto Laverda and pics on this forum. In the end I decided on pale blue/grey/green metal flake car paint that was within the spectrum of factory and photos on the net. Irrespective of whether under the tank indicates the factory colour or not you can nevertheless choose whatever you may like. I once saw a Pink Panther triple with WA plates! It's great to see a Laverda still on the road irrespective of the paint colour.

Ignore the rivet counters- I say paint it any color you like, but I like the dark gray mine was painted, along with the silver Porsche color I've seen on others

Hi QTR002, in the early 70s there was a color chart showing 16 different colors for the LAVERDA 750. I can recommend a slightly metallic color looks very nice and very authentic on the 750 SF. Ciao, Gert

dont rely on the first coat of paint on the tank, side panels or even seat if an SF3, they could have been swapped many times. There is no definitive chart to be able to read what colour the bike exited Breganze from its chassis number, your best bet was if you can track down the first registration certificate from whatever country it was registered when new, but even then, not all countries paperwork record the colour.

Shaun & myself both took existing original sample ( mine was under side panel, his was filler neck of tank) got the scannned and paint mixed.
Both Metalic silver blue, two different shades completely- but both look good. Pick a modern car colour that’s similar and go for that,at least you can see what it will look like when it’s done.

QTR002 here is my tank pic a shade of metallic pale blue! [under fluro the colour flips] BMW 442 Graugruen metal car paint! I love it. Thanks to Tom for sharing.

Looks like the old endurance racer trick of the Paul Rickard in a line of coke! Still I do like a Doily under a fuel tank at the dinner table, can’t let standards slip can we?

Thanks everyone for the colour choices! it's given me several to ponder, I do like the greenish gold metallic and the dark blue metallic! The tank and side covers are at the painters now when he's ready to apply the colour I'll have to make a decision.

When I bought the bike it had been sprayed black over original blue ( under tank & panels) I wasn’t sure but Shaun & my daughter nagged me to go with the original colour, they were right!

I like the screw slots, nicely lined up on a horizontal plain. Settles my OCD.

I have to have all engine bolts, spindles going through same way & split pins vertical and washers- I do love a washer!

How close is that to the goldy/green on the colour wheel above please? It's def the sort of colour I'm after.
