Otherwise, your local do it yourself shop will have plenty of different rubber bungs for furniture feet, door stops, etc...
No Laverda could do without them.

I like your way of highlighting the part you search for in your picture, I am not clever enough to work out how you draw an orange circle around a part and then post it.

I have tried a cut off piece of rubber hose which seems to work, but was after the real deal.
Clem, I did circle the item, in a pic I had, but didn't stand out as well so went with the old pen pointer  :)

I've made a couple of round rubber parts recently using any suitable chunk of hard rubber (eg a shock rubber from a car) mounted on a bolt/shaft in the lathe chuck and with the angle grinder mounted on the tool post. I was able to produce quite accurate tolerances and symmetry that way.

Rubber hose won't do it, Skeeta - too soft.

I've never tried but apparently freezing the rubber helps a lot.
I had some Ceriani shock seals made that way by freezing in liquid nitrogen.

Seriously?! A seal that has to retain shock oil under pressure?? Amazing.
