Starting to plan this trip now. I have the all important approval, we are definitely going to Breganze in July 24.

This is the place to look at where to go and what to see in and around Italy . All ideas welcome.

Hi Marty,
You may recall that Team BFN took the scenic route to Breganze from the UK in advance of the 2019 event - various of our Aussie mates joined in the fun and games and I reckon it's safe to say that we had a ball! 🏍😎🍻🍻🤣
Tentative discussions have been bandied about within Team BFN regarding the 2024 event, but there aren't yet any plans in place or commitments as to who's going.
Costs have escalated significantly, including shipping costs to and from Aus if you're thinking of bringing your own bike.

2019 was a truly international event, with attendees from around the globe, so hopefully 2024 will see a repeat - perhaps bettered, due to the museum.
Every Laverda nut has to visit Breganze at least once! I'll be watching this thread with interest and hope to see you there 👍

The cost of shipping my Atlas one way from England to Oz was horrendous. Better be sitting down if you get that quote, both ways would be crazy.

Conditions of my approval include 2 people and a hire car, so taking a bike over is not in the planning. Taking in the back roads of italy is included, hopefully in something interesting.

Most hire cars are bland econoboxes. Guess there may be companies hiring out classics, but these will be a bit costly. ;-)

There's not much you can do wrong driving/riding in that part of Italy, each and every corner holds a surprise. Non-stop fun once you get into the hills.

See you there Marty!

There are multiple owners with multiple bikes over in UK/Europe, some of whom will no doubt be willing to lend a bike to a fellow owner.

I'm aiming to go.
Went previously in '80, written up in BIKE magazine, and '91, filmed on You Tube.
I think it's time for a third pilgrimage, though I'll probably pass on the riding back in one hit, this time.Interclub Breganze Rally '91.jpg

well you never know, I must admit I would look forward to a coffee/beer in the square at Asiago, nice and cool up there if hot in Breganze and the views are just stunning, tall buildings all around the square limiting distance, but the Italian ladies must be bred and contained in a very small circle, they dont exist anywhere else., I have yet to see a fatty/spotty in this place except when looking in a mirror.

Don’t worry lemon there’ll be loads of other things to talk about, such as: “why isn’t so an so here” and, “why is so an so on a Harley/Guzzi/Honda etc?”

I'm going to plan 2024 in. I said on here a while ago that I wouldn't bother again, but I've come to realise my lack of 'feeling it' on the last trip was down to having ghosts of recently dead relatives riding pillion with me. I sure miss the ride to Breganze - and want the adventure again. See you there folks!
