I am Bernard, a mature enthusiast based in Toulouse, France.I am delighted to join you and share in this community.I own a Laverda 750 SF from January 1970 (Frame No. LAV 750 F 5826 DGM 59340 M; Engine No. 5826).My motivation stems from a love affair—a reason in itself—but also a desire to keep the Laverda family's legacy alive and to pay tribute to a bygone era that I miss dearly for various reasons.I have a solid understanding of how engines work, though I lack hands-on experience in working on them.Plus, my garage is just a basic lock-up unit.I also own an Alfa Romeo Giulia 1300 TI (my daily driver), as well as a Vespa PX and a Vespa ACMA—kept for the same reasons as the Laverda.An SFC replica is currently being built.I also have an interest in design, aviation (specifically propeller-driven aircraft), architecture, churches, and so on.I am not fluent in English; I rely on translation tools.
The SFC and the S belong to my friend—a Laverda enthusiast through and through—who, like you, knows them inside out.He is the builder of my replica.

Claude Nougaro is a talented singer-songwriter.
You have to be from Toulouse and love the city to understand just how fabulous this song is.
Above all, it lets you remember an atmosphere that has since vanished; nothing but the stone remains, while the rest has been devoured by this shitty society.
Otherwise, I’m into ska, punk, rock and others—the drugs of my teenage years—with Dr. Martens laced up tight.

Toots & The Maytals among my faves. Ska Classics CD a regular on road trips with the kids - TV themes and whatever else - we'd have a chuckle at the fabulously out of tune guitars and horns, but love it! BTW, Toots & Co were always in tune and in the pocket!
