Hi all, I have been looking for what will be my first Laverda, I know The price is generally what one is willing to pay, but a
1976 Laverda 3CL 1000 in almost concourse condition, is wanting $29,000 AUD way to much ?
Beautiful looking bike in my eyes. I am not chasing a "concourse condition" bike or even this particular model.

The market decides - just keep looking for what you're after and hopefully something comes up. I guess the trade-off is that an 'unknown' bike can relieve you of many centavos in very quick time if things start going wrong.

The only reason why it MIGHT rate even close to that is a particular Queenslander had done his magic TO THE MAX to it with proof that had happened. One guess who.

I know of a Redax restored bike that is for sale in Brisbane, fully restored for less then that price
76 3CL, less than 300 klms on a fresh engine due to life changes, new paint, new everything
real shame Dan needs to move it on

Looks like a very nice 3CL, but way too much money, Follow up with Red, you won't go wrong
