But the drum is not original
A drum brake triplehas toshould be period correct to every detail in my opinion this bike misses quite a few of those period correct details.
Fair comment ...... itUnless you own the bike ....... don't tell us how it "has to" be.
Jim
Fair comment ...... ithas toshould be said.
But Mo did continue "in my opinion" ....... his lazy typing left out the coma after opinion.
With the coma after 'opinion' and the sentence would be complete and correct.
I rather like the look of that drum and consider it a worthy upgrade without going to discs...
But the drum is not original, not mine just found it on ebay kleinanzeigen
I have one like it and it is not. You can buy it if you wantI rather like the look of that drum and consider it a worthy upgrade without going to discs...
Just my opinion Jim

Hi Shaun, as far as I know the last known drummer is 1238. But there is also one 1443 (meanwhile in UK), nobody knows why it has a drum in front - maybe build to customer specification. Ciao, Gert41 after mine and Piero was negotiable for a lot less.![]()
Ta Gert, should have checked my records instead of being lazyHi Shaun, as far as I know the last known drummer is 1238. But there is also one 1443 (meanwhile in UK), nobody knows why it has a drum in front - maybe build to customer specification. Ciao, Gert
Like the early Rob North BSA/Triumph triples.Might have to build a Laverda with a nice 4LS on the front and disc rear brake ......... just because.
Jim
Like the early Rob North BSA/Triumph triples.
And discs.......... a Rob North frame would complete things just perfect.
