Adjustable bars

 Cripes, between the headlight prices and handlebars, these Laverda things are becoming an expensive passion.
Do parts get cheaper when they are located further toward the rear of the bike?

BTW, in keeping with other threads of recent times: Those Brevettato bars are the bomb, or maybe I'm on drugs ........ no sex. ;)

An alternative to the original Brevettato bars now that we can't get the Raaske or other previously made similar bars and with resale of used and NOS "Jota" bars getting pricey: thanks to a discussion in the Zane' list about footrests, I went looking at TEC BIKE PARTS a UK company with US affiliate, saw these on the web site, arrived two days later via UPS.
TEC Jota bars
Not installed yet, quality seems good, not quite as well finished and not a perfect replica of the originals but certainly not going to be immediately noticed as fake when installed where the BREVETTATO mark can be covered with the instruments mount.

My accident-tweaked originals and TEC "Jota bars". I've no connection with TEC other than being very happy with the first products I've ordered from them.

"Brevettato" is Italian for "Patented".
I believe the design was patented by Francesco Laverda, though, probably, the bars were not made in house but contracted out, like the frames.
I've often wondered how Raask got round the patent, to make their copies.

What is the symmetry like when the bars are assembled? I have a set by another manufacturer that must of been welded after a night on the beer as the one end sits at 4 o’clock and the other at 7 o’clock !
